A graduate of Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune, India, Sania’s affinity towards art and design had started blooming since her childhood days. As she grew older, she realized her passion for clothing, along with music, art & architecture. Now she successfully combines her passions into an eclectic narrative that transcends through her designs. Her collection, “A Knight in Shining Armor” won her the award for “The Collection with the Best Ramp Appeal” at her graduation show at SID in 2015. To solidify her learnings, she interned with the best contemporary label in the country, péro by Aneeth Arora in New Delhi, India.

One with an inquisitive mind, her thirst for learning didn’t stop and she headed to the USA, to pursue her master’s degree and learn about the business aspect of the fashion industry. At Savannah College of Art & Design, Savannah, USA, she embarked upon a journey to delve into the world of luxury fashion. Whilst understanding the nitty-gritty of the luxury world, she developed a keen eye for quality and detail. It was here that the designer learned to culminate her sense of design with the paradigms of luxury.

République By Sania is built on the idea of giving the audience the freedom to write their own story. Thus, République is a metaphor for freedom, expression and being able to tell your story through clothing.
