Esha Sethi Thirani is a Kolkata based designer, creating garments which she hopes will appeal to young trendsetters in the city.

She has been fascinated by beautiful clothing since a very young age. As a little girl she dreamed of creating exquisite masterpieces that would be worn by eminent personalites and celebrities. She began her career studying fashion design at The Bhowanipore Education Society College, where she won the ‘Designer of the Year’ award in 2012. Upon graduating from Lancaster University in the UK with an M.A in Human Resources and Knowledge management in 2008, Esha returned to Kolkata realizing her true calling was in the field of fashion and creative arts. In 2015, Esha fulfilled her lifelong dream and launched her eponymous line – Esha Sethi Thirani which she showcased at The India Beach Fashion Week. In 2018 she made her international debut at the Paris Fashion week with her collection titled ‘Qalamkar’.

Esha Sethi Thirani’s design inspiration emanates mainly from shape, architecture, and colour which ultimately find their way into her eclectic aesthetic. Her attention to detail and curiosity for style beyond the ordinary, presents itself in luxurious fabrications and embroideries that is a signature for her creations. With its roots dug in quality craftsmanship and sophisticated tailoring, Esha Sethi Thirani creates modern designs combined with traditional Indian art and craft.

Her designs have been featured on various National and International magazines and her collections have been sported by eminent film personalities like Deepika Padukone,Tara Sutaria, Masaba Gupta, Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Vaani Kapoor, Padma Lakshmi, Sonakshi Sinha, Tapsee Pannu, Richa Chaddha, Aditi Rao Hyderi and many more.
