A young fashion entrepreneur from the culturally rich city of Jaipur, Sarvya Sharma is a designer with a vision to redefine fashion for the Indian woman. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Xavier’s College Jaipur she proceeded to follow her passion for fashion and creative arts at SOFT Pune. She has worked with eminent designers like Rahul Mishra and Aisha Rao in Delhi and Hyderabad. While working in close partnership with these and many other designers, she discovered her true calling. She was unambiguously compelled by the idea of promoting “ Sustainable Fashion”. Thus began the story of weaving “Moh The Eternal Dhaga”, her dream to infuse traditional Indian textiles and prints with a flavour of modish styles. Her mastery lies in her ability to seamlessly blend the essence of Indian culture with modern sensibilities. The theme is conspicuously displayed in the choice of earthy colours and traditional natural fabrics like cotton, rayon, and linen. The quintessential #mohgirl is cool, confident and a connoisseur of art and culture. She is a woman who takes pride in being sophisticated and progressive but firmly rooted in traditional ethics and values. Thinking globally and acting locally, her constant endeavour is to create designs that are global in their construction but defiantly Indian in their sensibility.
